Windows 11, Finale 27, Garritan
I'm in the process of moving from an old, dying computer to a new one. I see instructions on how to de-authorize on the old, authorizing on the new. But I'm not finding any clear instructions on how to migrate my DATA. That's obviously very important, all the scores I've entered into Finale over the years.
The MakeMusic website has a chart of all the nooks and crannies where that is saved. But moving files from each tiny nook and cranny into the equivalent nook and cranny of the new one seems unnecessarily laborious. There must be a better way to do this!
I'd appreciate any help folks can offer, especially since I'm being VERY careful to limit how much time I keep the old laptop running. Afraid it will die completely before I'm done.
BTW, I don't plan to move to different (non-discontinued) software quite yet. I just want to install Finale on my new computer for now, along with all the data.
I'm pretty sure I have version 27 installed. Again, I don't want to start up the old computer unnecessarily to find out for sure.
