MIDI not working was working 2 days ago

Windows 10 64 bit 32 Gigs Ram 500 MB Storage

I am only able to use Mouse Input now

The Speed Enter Tool has never worked in V 25 or 27 for me.

Now Simple Enter Tool does not work today ?

I scanned for Virus & am Clean . I try to keep this computer clean and only use for Music Composition. Hope you can Help.

I did check for windows Update on Midi Drivers & they are all up to date.

I also check the Casio 88 keyboard to see if it is working when I press on the note on the keyboard.

I do see the midi device light up when I touch the keyboard.

I can't imagine what is interfering with the signal to finale.

Also I have not installed any new hard ware Devices on my Computer.

Where is this MIDI light that lights up?

Are your MIDI cables properly attached? (MIDI Out goes to MIDI In and vice versa.)

You say Speedy Entry hasn't worked since v25; what doesn't work (specifically!)?

How is your MIDI/Audio configured?

There are 3 light.

The right is always on.

When I press a key on the musical Keyboard the midi Middle light flash's up each time I press the key.

I have check the cables, the Uno One is receiving signal and the middle light is flashing on the Uno One when Casio Keys are touched.

I checked the USB to Computer, all looks good.

The computer beeps when I disconnect the USB Uno One and a beep when I reconnect.

This is connected to a Standard Midi Casio 88 Lighted Keyboard. (Soon to be Native Instrument 88 Keyboard)

Might I add that I was getting a crash when I select 1234 on bottom left. So you can add 4 separate notes and rhythm to 1 Staff.

Has a Metronome click with a 2 or 4 bar entry so you can play in real time. That doesn't engage Stay on what ever measure it on, Light up. I thought it was waiting so I engage a key, Nothing is happening.

Now Simple Enter Tool does not work today When I sent You request for Help.

Was working 2 days ago and is my preferred method of entry of note

I have used it today 062321. Both Speed Enter Tool & Simple Enter Tool are not working for keyboard.

Mouse Note entry works.

The tool with the pre-click is Hyperscribe rather than Speedy Entry. Speedy Entry is a step-time entry method: hold down a rhythm key (on the number pad) while you press a pitch key on your MIDI or QWERTY keyboard.

From your description it appears that your MIDI keyboard is not connecting with Finale. Can it connect to any other program(s) on your computer?

You might try using the "Submit a request" link at the top of this page to contact Finale Support directly. I'm sure they want you to be able to use the program and perhaps could set up a computer-sharing session to troubleshoot your difficulty.
