Using the Maestro music font there is no 16th note downstem flag that is shorter than the default one (nº 82). This means that, for an isolated (stand-alone) downstem 16th note, the stem lengths have to be quite enormously long in order for the flags not to touch the note head, which can be a problem in music that needs fingerings, bowings, dynamics etc all crowded in.
For 8th notes, the Maestro Font has a shorter flag/stem available (#239 instead of the standard #72) but the equivalent stem/flag for the 16th note is not available. I would request that this be remedied !
