Remember View when opening document.

It would be very helpful if Finale would remember the View (Scroll vs. Page) when opening a document. Preferably on a per-document basis, but as an application window state if that's a problem.

If that isn't feasible, a preference to set the default view would also be an improvement - 90% of the time I would prefer Scroll view.

Take a good look at

Preferences - New

In the pane

New Document Windows

you can set the Default View to Scroll View.

Thanks - that's a curious place to put it, but it does seem to work.

That setting is in the Preferences, meaning that the setting is program specific (not document specific, not saved in the Finale documents).

However, there is something else that is document specific:

Bookmarks

You can edit a Bookmark, and specify that the Bookmark is assigned to Scroll View.
