Hi,
I am a MAC user, and what it used to be easy with the previous finale version, now it is not possible with the new V27.

For some reason all the finger and string numbers I need to assign, they jump all over the place, the it used to be easy just put them in their right position, now it is not possible.

Does anybody know why is this happening?

Thanks a lot in advance! :-)

Does it happen in all documents? (- new v27 documents? - older documents created in an earlier Finale version?)

In Other Words:

Is the problem document specific or program specific?

It happens on a 30 pages classical guitar piece I have almost done with V26 that now I am opening with the new V27.

I just open a new document, I created new edits (fingering and string numbers on a circle), and it works fine.

To summarize: I noticed that when I create a document with the new V27, there is no problem; when I try to edit a document I created with V26 (using the new V27), the fingering numbers jump all over the place.

Open your F26 document into a Legacy Style doc, not into a new SMuFL doc.

If you are running under macOS 11, be sure to open the document with the selection tool active. (or Simple, Speedy)

The behavior you describe can happen when you launch Finale or open a document with any handle based tool active.
