Using Windows 10 Finale version 26 Please make it possible for us to add instrument and the range. That would be most helpful. Also consider adding steel pans and the appropriate ranges. The issue is many steel pans have slightly different ranges. But both of these things would be very helpful. Thank you for your consideration.

It is not clear to me what you are asking for.

 

Are you talking about the Instrument List’s sub-menu Customize View?

In my own copy of Finale v26 the sub-menu Customize View has the following 8 menu items:

Name

Record

Mute & Solo

Mix

Program Change

Channel

Percussion MIDI Map

Start Measure

 

Are you requesting the addition of two more items in the sub-menu Customize View, namely “Instrument” and “Range”?

In the Instrument List there is already a column called Instrument. That column is always on; it can not be toggled off.

I was under the impression Marion wanted to create new "custom" instruments, but I could be mistaken.
