I’m a little confused. Do you mean that you get lousy results, or none at all? Are you trying to scan a handwritten chart? Or just scan a few measures into something else?

if you can give me a better idea of what you want, I’ll try to help. I’m not bad with SmartScore.

What format is your existing sheet music chart in? Is it in Finale or SmartScore?

I think Fran has nothing, and is deciding how to do what they want. I ran their files through SSP64, and had to do a fair bit of work. Brought it into Finale, and had still more to do. The Lite version would have returned a true dog's breakfast.

I'll bet mine was tougher! I was in the hospital on Monday getting my fifth cardiac stent. I'm back home and feeling better, though.

Regardless, I do not think it is asking too much for folks to put questions into the questions forum. Perhaps Finale should do what Dorico has done and have everything in one forum. Since the same mods, when they visit, visit both forums and seldom if ever take feature requests into account, there is really now no longer any reason for multiple forums as there might have been when a Finale employee was charged with riding herd on features explicitly.
