I am currently running Windows 10 using Finale 27. I know I can easily move my dynamic markings on my score, vertically, for the entire score. I just adjust the arrows which appear on the screen-left, on page 1 of score. Just like I can do chord symbols, if they get positioned a little too high or too low, for my taste.

I would like to be able to do this for my dynamic markings, horizontally, on my score. I don't want to have to drag each dynamic marking, individually, for the entire score. I want to make an adjustment, somewhere, and move all of them, slightly to the left of the note. As my Finale adds them, currently, they are positioning a little behind [right of]  the note. It is just my personal preference and also reflects the personal taste of the person who helped me learn, Finale, years ago.

What easy solutions would you recommend to fix this issue, so I don't have to drag every dynamic over to the left, slightly, on my score?

As always, thank you very much.

Go to your expression tool. Look for the category with dynamics. Click edit categories. The usual horizontal alignment is "left of primary notehead". You can change that to another position if you like or you can change the number entered in "additional horizontal offset". Enter a positive number to move to the right, a negative number to move to the left.

You might have to play around with this until you get the look you want, but the dynamics in this category should change to the new positioning parameter. You might want to perform this on a copy of your file just in case.

You can try Perfect Layout and see if does what you want. Mostly you just enter the dynamics or any other item and don't worry where Finale puts it. Run PL on your finished score.  PL will put everything where it needs to be or is supposed to be. Plus it has several settings you can change to your personal liking.
