While running Windows 10 and a newly installed edition of Finale v26, any music playing (say, in iTunes) or video playing (either in a video playback app or streaming through a browser) stops while Finale starts.  Once Finale has booted and the startup wizard displays, I can restart the music or video (sometimes needing to refresh the page if streaming).  My last version of Finale (v14) didn't do this.  What's up??!!
