I have a composition scored for 14 channels of VST instruments. While I'm working with the piece and also when I re- load the piece, multiple tracks of VST instruments stop playing there sounds. The score manager looks like it is all setup correctly. I can reenter the instruments to get them to play. But then some other tracks will stop playing. I have the latest addition of Finale.
I have Windows 10 a Motu 2408 sound system. I also have a Presonus system for sounds.
I have no idea how the extra add-ons you have effect it but for Finale sounds you can try Reassign Playback Sounds in the MIDI tool. That should get everything back to working. If it doesn't try selecting a different HP setting and if that doesn't work try selecting HP to None.
You didn't say what Finale version you have. This may or may not be the cause but it seems Finale 27 is having issues with the new SMUFL fonts and HP playback. If you have an earlier version this probably won't help. I use NotePerformer 3 with 27 and I don't have the problem but I did see it a couple times before I started use NP3. Sometimes volume would drop or not return or tempo changes would be ignored.
