I need to "Play Finale Through Audio Units" and "Play Finale Through MIDI" at the same time

Having to choose between these two severely limits what I can do while composing for Film/TV. Something as simple as an AU Instrument that sends MIDI to the Finale.app Output 1-4 would suffice. Blue Cat has "Connector" which can do this, but Finale doesn't see it as an AU Instrument, only as an AU Effect.

Blue Cat informs me, Connector is an AU Effect. So why doesn't Finale send MIDI to it? Is it because the signal flow only expects audio? There's a lot that could be done with MIDI effects this way.

If Connector is an effect, have you checked the MIDI/Audio > Devices and Effects screen to see if it appears there? (Sorry for the typo.)
