Apply human playback sounds different than when I just play the score.

This is very apparent. Playing Mozart's Jupiter 1st movement using Noteperformer.

When I hit apply human playback, there are suddenly additional slurred staccatos added, and tenutos. Sounds totally different and more "rigid" in terms of tempo I'd say.

Applying HP on top of NP is double-dipping and would probably give worse results than NP alone, but that is up to the user.

NP uses HP at its core. Disabling HP would disable NP. Do you mean applying HP somehow doubles HP and confuses NP? It shouldn't because what HP does is it "sets in stone" whatever MIDI data HP produces so that NP doesn't have to look ahead and calculate it live. All NP would have to do is just read the data it otherwise would've needed to calculate live.

There's some hidden discrepancy involved.

Ok the problem was in the settings of HP

Velocity must be set to no effect, otherwise, it produces the "sit-ups" on the notes and Start-Stop time has to be set to no effect, otherwise, it causes weird phrasing.

Also, when applying the human playback, you have to save and exit Finale (completely), then restart the project. Otherwise no matter what you set it will always have weird sounds.

HP still causes desync between the parts.
