Using Windows 10.0 and Finale 26.3.1.

Erratic measure numbers are displaying. I suspect it has to do with moving measures up and down and locking systems. How can I override this and just display measure numbers at regular intervals or at start of each system?

Measure Tool and menu -> Edit Measure regions. You can set up different parameters for the score and for the parts.

There is a checkbox "Show on Start of Staff System."

1) Welcome to the forum!

 

2) To reset the measure numbers to the default settings (= to remove individual adjustments):

Measure Tool.

Select All.

Measure menu > Restore Measure Number Defaults
