Hallo everybody,
A problem I'm experiencing with all versions of Finale since 10 years, but maybe it's me, thant I cannot handle that.
Is there actually aq way to write a tuplet on last beat of a bar without coming up with some weird rests like this?

You are using the Simple Entry Tool (not the Speedy Entry Tool) - right?
Two solutions:
1) Quick-and-with-no-insight:
Simple menu > Simple Entry Options…
Uncheck the option {Check for Extra Notes}.
2) Slower-and-with-insight:
