I use the graphic tool, select the graphic and place it in the page. The graphic briefly displays, but then disappears.

it doesn't print.  I've tried both linked file and unlinked file to place and same thing happens.

Tried the same graphic as jpg and bmp.

Any ideas?   Finale 26.3.1.520  on Windows 10.

I’d suggest placing your graphic on a blank page in a word processing program. “Print” it to a PDF. Do the same with your Finale file, and combine the PDFs.

Mike, Thanks but I was hoping for clues on how to fix Finale so it works as advertised. I have used this feature with previous versions and it worked fine; so, I was surprised that it just doesn't want to function in V.26 on my Win-10 XPS-8500.

Melvin, I have no problem to place a graphic in a blank page (Finale 27.2).
Make shure that you select: Graphics > Assign New Graphic to Page.

Thank you Jürg,

     I am on V.26 right now and hesitate to pay for an upgrade without confidence it will help.  Placing graphics worked in my previous version(s), but upgrading to v.26, it no longer functions.   Looking for some administrative fix to Finale 26 so that it works as advertised.  I am hoping the MakeMusic engineers have an idea.

Melvin,

Have you contacted support directly? Don’t depend on them reading your problem, here.

Why not download the F27 demo, and see if it helps? It’s a pretty safe bet that they won’t issue any fixes for F26.
