One way to do it:

Document Options - Time Signatures

For the Bottom Symbol, set the Vertical Adjustment to a very low value, like -10i (= -720pt).

This will push the Bottom Symbol down, possibly below the bottom edge of the page.

In that way the number will not print.

NB:

This is a Document Option.

It will apply “globally” = to all the measures in the entire document.
