You've got a computer problem not a Finale issue. That's where you need to look. Two biggies is your sound driver and video driver.  Disable the sound driver and try to open Finale again. Check your startup programs for conflicts. Anything new in there? It can be a permissions problem. Create a new user account and see if Finale opens in it.

BTW which version of Windows do you have? I am not sure v25 is compatible with Windows 11. So if MS updated your computer to 11 that might be the problem. You might try the WIndows compatibility modes.
