I arrange many scores for french horn ensemble, primarily of renaissance and baroque scores, which entail horn ranges far above the modern accepted concert F (top line treble clef). Since my scores are notated in concert pitch, would it be possible to have more choices for the key of the horn to be in other than F, primarily Eb, Bb, C, D, and A. and would it be possible to simply extend the range of the instrument in Garritan to extend to the C above the treble clef? Modern descant and triple horns use this range extensively in modern scores.
