Hi,

Last year I've used the note mover tool without problem as you can see here:


 

Now when I try to drag a note (an A in the example) to the lower staff I have this problem:

 

 

I have not changed neither the operating system (Catalina 10.15.7) nor the software version (Finale 26.3.1.643) in the last year, for this reason I can't explain where is the problem.

could you please help me? I must finish a composition within 2 days!

Are you sure you have "Cross Staff" selected in the Note Mover menu? Looks like you have either "Copy and Merge" or "Copy and Replace" selected

There is also a Cross Staff Plug-in
