Controlling volume of a note only for it's duration

Hi,

In the above phrase is it possible to:

Make the 2^nd voice softer than the two whole notes making up the outer voice?
Make individual notes softer than the other notes, and only for the duration for that particular note?
Do the above without using dynamic markings?

If nothing else, you could put accents on the notes you want to stress and then hid the accents. The should work on a piano or other instrument that relies on velocity for its volume.

You could also send the inner voices to a separate MIDI channel and VST instance in the Score manager and set that to a louder base volume.
