MS Windows 11 with Finale vs 22

Maybe it would be useful to have a tool for changing hand in keyboard scores.
Like this one: 'L' and its downside up for the other hand.

What do you think?

Not sure how that would work. Could you show us a drawing of what you have in mind, or give us an example of where it's used before?

And instead of an upside down L, why not an R?

Finale already has 26 tools (= Selection Tool, Zoom Tool, Hand Grabber Tool, &c.).

Rather than adding yet another tool it might be better to include the requested feature in one of Finale’s already existing tools.

Or, create your own expressions, and add them to your templates.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

The tool of 'changing hand' in keyboard music is, as far as I know, a common character all over in the existing music literature.

Maybe to be added best under 'Text'.

It's just a single character 'L', easily to be composed by underscore (_) and stile (|) and its upside down. Except, that Text isn't bound to a specific note or position in the score, so, one has to correct when e.g. inserting or deleteing measures

In fact, it's an auxiliary sign of 'fingering'.

Thank you all for your suggestions!

Don't use the text tool for that. As miker suggests, use an expression (it will follow the music even if the layout is changed). In this case, as the symbol includes several characters in specific positions, you may have to create a shape expression.
