I am getting comfortable with Finale 27; but the latency (the delay that when I depress a key and when the note simutaneously sounds and appears on the staff) has prevented me from using Hyperscribe,

My question is two-fold:

1) - Is Song Writer Available? I was able was able to successfully use Hyperscribe type action on that, a number of years ago.

2) - Do you actually know anyone who has been successful at using Hyperscribe, with Finale?
