Hello, I am using Windows 11 and run Finale 27.2 on my Dell Alienware laptop.
I recently downloaded KONTAKT 7 and, to my disappointment, Finale does NOT support VST3 plugins, therefore I am not able to run it within Finale, as Kontakt 7 is ONLY in VST3 plugin format and not simple VST.
Please support me in voting for an update in Finale so it will support also VST3 plugins soon, I am sure many of us will appreciate it!

Thanks!

NS.-

Cyber Monday Finale Newsletter:

Finale has gone through many changes over the last 35 years, but one thing remains the same—it's still the only music notation software that enables you to create anything you can imagine, any way you can imagine.

Not true!

I'm wondering if they are about to abandon ship since they are offering v 27 for $65.

THANK YOU, Mike Halloran:

I do like when you comment since you're always the voice of reason and not the voice of contention like so many enjoy being.

I also would like to have VST3 support in Finale.  But I can deal work without it if I have to.  I dislike having to download workaround fixes when a REAL FIX by Finale/MakeMusic should suffice.

Cheers, Enrique

Native Instruments finally got back to me.

In the case someone would require a Kontakt 6 Player serial or installer they can contact NI support here: http://bit.ly/NIsupport_install

Others have done so as I’ve suggested earlier but I didn’t have the link till now. I have no idea if there’s a fee or not. Since I have K6, there’s no reason for me to inquire for myself. Note that this is the free Player, not the full Kontakt.

Hola,
Tristemente es así, Finale 27 no soporta KONTAKT en su versión Full. Bien, no sabemos si algún día...

Using Google Translate

ws, the mixer, did I say mixer?, yes, it freezes in Windows, the reverb option, did I say reverb?, I won't even tell you. Good conclusion to those who since it came out in its first version until now, as they are the ones who will decide when, if one day they choose, perhaps they will choose from that day on, to consider updating. Another example: Finals in Spanish. We have had to swallow even this last one, all the versions in English and so on, when it was easy, the 2003 version was in Spanish (Castilian). It is my opinion, like any other, greetings.

Cuidadín pues, porque hace tiempo era una cosa, y desde entonces ha llovido algo y la competencia, aprieta y pasa de largo si le da por apretar, un saludo.

Be careful, because it was a thing a long time ago, and since then it has rained a little and the competition pushes and passes by if they feel like pushing, greetings.

Hello, Ovidio,

I recommend that the feature upgrade for the Spanish Language version of Finale be listed in a separate thread and not this one about the lack of VST3 Support.

According to MakeMusic, there was a Spanish Language Edition of Finale 26 released in 2020:

https://www.finalemusic.com/blog/spanish-finale-v26-is-here/

As for Castilian vis-a-vis other dialects, Castilian was what I studied in the 1960s but, in California where I live, it is not very useful. Only when I am in Europe performing in festivals and encounter performers who speak it do I find that I have a good understanding and can be understood. What does this all mean? Nothing, really, except that I have some understanding of the problem. I do not work for MakeMusic, however.

When you start a new thread about Finale in Spanish, I will delete this and repost it there.
