Here's what helps in the short term at least: the JW Fit Music plugin. Works like a charm. The only thing is that it's more work of course.

Interesting. I’ve been using Ventura early on as part of the development seed process and never saw this behavior. I have not had to reinstall any apps including Finale.

You might want to take a look at Reason someday. There is no score view. It’s a really nicely designed rack with more possibilities than I could count and a decent enough sequencer. But it’s design...
