Thanks Adrian! Got it finally! Why did finale change the spacing when i added a new staff? why did not use the default ? finale never behaved in this way before... weird, so much time thrown away

Of course you can if you saved it before opening the new document. Since it never happened before, i did not save it, so i had to copy and paste all the new work i did.... Anyway this is a bug and ...
