Thanks again William Reed. I had begun to think dark thoughts about my computer (standard Dell) and Finale.

Success installing Finale 27. The tip supplied by William Reed worked completely. Thanks very much. Worth remembering.

If install fails, try right click of mouse and "install as administrator".

I purchased and downloaded Finale 27 and unzipped it with no problem. When I doubleclick the setup executable it gives me the message "error 5, access denied.
