You might want to look into a 3rd party app to watermark a PDF of the file. That way you could control the transparency. Anything you do in Finale would overlay the score.

It works fine for me. Are you stopping playback with the control, NOT with the spacebar?

No. 2014 and 2014.5 are not compatible with Mojave. They stated that a couple of years ago.

Make sure that Automatic Music Spacing is not checked. I can’t tell you where to look on windows, but it should be in program preferences.

That’s what the Lyrics and Chords template does. But as I said, I can’t find a shortcut from an existing lead sheet.

- Add a half page of text instead of one of the vocal staffs on a page.
Use the staff tool to mov the unwanted staves down, until they jump to the next page. Then, add your text block.

By "the same key" do you mean "the same staff position?" Or do you mean across an actual key change?
