I'm not sure that's as obvious as it may seem. If one sends a file to someone with a completely different sound setup, the Map I use would be of limited use.

Doug, I would check your MIDI and Audio input and output settings (not sure of where those reside in F2012). Also, how are you inputting notes? MIDI Kbd? QWERTY Kbd? Mouse?
