Why are you setting the tempo with the MIDI tool? It's much easier to just use a tempo mark expression, which you can put anywhere.

the text color you have to change in Preferences > Display Colors > Lyricsyou can't do it in the Lyrics Windowobviously this will then only be useful if you aren't using actual lyrics in your score...

Youn may have inadvertently added a hard space at the end. Try placing the cursor between the s and the f and add an f there.
