Same error, two separate laptops. Every time I upgrade. Finale used to be the industry standard. Now I see what happened.

I ran both installers, on two installs on two different machines. Same error.

Do you mean Finale Jazz Text? Finale Jazz looks like it might not be the caligraphy pen font. I installed Finale Jazz Text and it seems to work.

Finale has the worst customer service. They can't seem to reproduce the problem, therefore it doesn't exist.

My dialog box doesn't look like that. Here's my "Define Staff Styles" box: Even with "Lyrics" checked, the lyrics disappear upon refresh.

How are you getting that box? I'm picking Rhythmic Notation from the drop-down menu off of the Staff button.

It looks like it is due to using the Rhythmic Notation option. Is there a workaround for this?

I'm not seeing anything that will help me in there. I'm trying to make sure that the sustain pedal sustains notes in the piano part, and that slurs keep the notes sustained into each other.
