I figured it out. Finale did not like Asio. Changed to direct sound. Which is fine, as I'm not using an external sound card for this laptop. Works now. Ty
Instead of space bar. click play on the playback bar
IOW, do it only one time once you've launched the program, any you should be good to go thereafter. That's been my experience
I can confirm the space bar bug. However, it seems that if you only activate regular playback one time, space bar will work thereafter. Weird, but true
