It is now playing through MIDI SmartMusic SoftSynth. I'm wondering if Garritan didn't install, didn't install correctly, or installed to the wrong place.

Mine is set to DirectSound. I checked again . . . it was the community answer that said it was solved. It is still open with no response (CoViD?). . . . Thanks, Adrian . . .

I'm not sure what's going on, but I just heard back from Finale that my question is "solved." Which it is not . . . .

Thanks for the suggestions Adrian, but I've done all these (I first got this program in floppies at a music educator's convention in the late 80's - I've never had this issue).

I don't know if this is because of a Windows 10 update, but since installing 26, I get no playback either on MIDI or VST. An exported WAV file is silent. All of my laptop sound stuff is fine that i...
