Are scores written in Finale 2009 printable in Finale 25?

Hi, I have orchestral scores and parts written in Finale 2009. If the print shop has Finale 25, can they print them? Moreover, when I purchase Finale 25, can I open, print or play scores written in Finale 2009? I have a Macbook Pro Os X version 10.5.8 from the same year. The scores are on the hard drive as well as an external hard drive. Thank you, Greg

AFAIK Finale v25 can open and print Finale 2009 files. Still, I would send the printer a one-page test page, since a lot of changes were made in Finale 2012 and even though Finale 25 could update the 2009 file, there might be some minor format consequences that would bother you.

You could try downloading the trial version of Finale 25 and see what happens when you open your 2009 file(s).
