Can't save in Finale. Error occurred. ID= -2

Finale Version 25.2.0.79 Mac OS Sierra 10.12.2

Whenever I attempt to save my work I get an error message.
Error message reads:

While attempting to access
"EnigmaTemp297273891" the File Manager
reported an error.

Finale - Error occurred. ID= -2

Please specify the steps you've already taken, so that we can rule out things.

(Have you tried trashing your preferences file? Tested a brand new user account?)
