In Studio View the volume controls of the RH and LH of Steinway Piano appear to be linked.  I tried to separate them into separate "Groups" using the Staff tool, but no luck.  Any suggestions?  I'm using Finale 2012 on a MAC with OS X, v. 10.6.8  Thanks in advance!  Richard

To assign different dynamics to the different staves they must contain separate instances of the instrument (different MIDI channels). To achieve this, you may have to create your piano grand staff rather than using the one provided.
