I used to be able to call the 1-800 number and get a nice person to help me.  Now I just get a voice telling me to go online to solve my problems.  UGH.

Hello Elaine,

Yes you are right, support for our notation products is available exclusively online.

We're refocusing on an improved online support experience. The ultimate goal in making this change is to be able to offer you faster turnaround time, and provide an appropriate, prioritized response based on the nature of the question. That means you get priority responses when your product isn't working like it should. Making this change ensures that we can continue to offer free, expert-level support for our notation products.

Fairness for Zombies insists that forward-looking corporations like MM hire an equal number of live and undead employees, and live employees are better at programming.

When I try to copy and paste in my score, it transposes my music! All I'm trying to do is copy and paste. Why is it doing this?

Hi Bert,

It sounds like you may actually be running into the action of a global preference that can be deactivated if you are using Finale. Try these steps!

1. Open any file in Finale.

2. Choose Finale > Preferences (Mac) or Edit Preferences (Windows).

3. Choose the Edit section from the left-hand side.

4. Deselect the Respect Instrument Ranges When Copying or Changing Instruments option.

5. Click Apply; click OK.

Hope that helps!
