Hi, I have a problem with the Smart Shape Palette, is finale 2014.5 , I can not put the tools in place, for example, I put a crescendo and I can not put it twice or put another indication. I have a Macbook 2013 with OSX El Capitan. Thank you.

1) The culprit could be a (virtually) stuck key.

Have you tried a reboot?

2) Have you tried removing Finale’s preferences file?

To locate the Preferences file:

* Open a new Finder window.

* Hold down the Option key, and go to

Go menu > Library

(the Library item will not appear in the Go menu unless you hold down Option)

* Path in the Library folder:

Library > Preferences > Finale 2014.5 Preferences
