OS Win 10 Pro x64, ARIA 1.860

Moving from Sonar to Studio one, and when I put either the single VST or multi VST instrument on a track, I can only assign one automation volume to the entire VST, instead of begin able to assign a volume envelope to each loaded instrument.

To explain in another way, I insert the Aria Player as an instrument track, then add, say, 4 Aria instruments in the player.  I then add 3 other instrument tracks to S1 and assign the channel to match the player.  So now I have 4 tracks in my song. I can add midi events to each one, controlled properly by the Aria Player.  If I add volume automation to any one track, it works, but it controls volume for all 4 tracks.  It also shows only one channel in the console for all 4 tracks.  If I try to add volume automation for another track, the volume automation parameter is not available... all 4 tracks are being automated by one volume automation track.

Must I use a new instance of the Aria Player for each instrument that I want to control with volume automation?

edit- watch this video.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoIFIlET6Rw

it's about using Kontakt but mostly works for GPO5 in Studio One.
