I just purchased Finale v. 25 upgrade. I upgraded from v.2014.5. On my Mac, it takes a long time to download, and 15 minutes into a long download, it says, "download failed". I have never seen this before. Can anyone shed some light on what might be going on, please?

Try again; and if that doesn't work, use the "Submit a request" link above to conatct MM directly. I'm sure they want your download to succeed if your Mac is capable of running the program.

Don't use the Chrome browser. For some reason, it gets in the way of the upgrade process. Normal downloads are fine.

 

If you aren't using Chrome, then I'm out of ideas.

Hi Linda,

 

Are you still having troubles downloading? If so, were you able to try Mike's suggestion of trying another browser like Firefox? If the download still fails, this could be related to internet speeds - you may wish to try connecting directly using ethernet rather than WiFi to see if that helps.
