I am transcribing for instruments in clefs I am not familiar with.

Can I set hyperscribe to transcribe, for instance, the Horn in F part, as I play it from my midi keyboard, and have the notes transpose automatically onto the screen?

Is it a playback issue, or a layout issue?

 

Are you playing from a manuscript Horn part notated transposed in F, or from a manuscript part notated in Concert Pitch?

 

Should the resulting Horn part in Finale be notated transposed in F, or notated in Concert Pitch?

 

 Have you tried “Display in Concert Pitch” (Document menu)?

You can toggle “Display in Concert Pitch” off when you are done.

I am playing from manuscript in concert pitch...didn't know about option, 'display in concert pitch'
