High I try to put an 8va sign above the staff. I can move it but the short lines still go up, as if it was placed below the staff. How can I turn them down? Thanks! Amit
My first guess would be that you have attached the 8va Smart Shape to the staff above, not to the staff below. Try this: Enter the 8va just a little above the staff. Then move it up to the desired position.
