When I open up Finale on my old computer and go to the Help section, nowhere do I see Deauthorize.  Is it under a different area?

What version of Finale? Mac or Windows?

You can also deauthorize on line, by going to the My Software link at the top of this page.

Deauthorize Finale is normally in the Help Menu—at least from 2011 on. I don't recall if it's there in earlier versions. You can Manage Authorizations by logging into your MakeMusic User Account.

 

This assumes that a) you have a version of Finale new enough to use the License Server and b) you are not using a site or group license of some kind where you do not have permissions to access the license server to authorize/deauthorize.
