Using Human Play

When I playback a file using the multiple bass drum sounds it only plays some of the notes.  If the rhytm is four straigh quarter notes, sound is only heard on 1 or 2 beats in the measure, and it appears to favor beat 2.  This occurs with and without human playback on.

I am completely stumped.
