My metatools (articulation and expression) have suddenly stopped working. After I close and open Finale on Mac my programmed metatools revert back to the default.
This is a misunderstanding.
Articulation metatools and expression metatools are document specific, not program specific.
You can have one set of metatools in one Finale document, and another set of metatools (or no metatools at all) in another document.
If you examine several Finale documents, then you may find that their articulation metatools and expression metatools are different.
