Hi! I'm using Finale V27.1.0.144 on Windows, and I'm trying to write tab for lute, using letters instead of numbers.

In the Setup Wizard I selected Tablature, then Lute With Letters (TAB), but when I copy from another staff to the tab it uses numbers instead of letters. What am I doing wrong?

I do not think that you are doing anything wrong.

Rather I think that you have found an oversight in the Wizard.

 

Try this:
