I just installed Finale 27.3 on a Windows 10 pc.  I have the MIDI/Audio menuy set to "Play Finale through MIDI." For reasons I won't go into here, I need to use MIDI.  But when playing back I get no sound at all.  My Audio Setup is:

Any ideas why I don't have sound?

Does the test audio output button produce a sound?

 

Have you assigned playback sounds to each instrument part?

 

Are all other audio programs closed when you open Finale? (They probably do not always need to be off, but for the purpose of testing, you should probably restart your computer and then open Finale to test it.,)
