In a piece, I inserted "Fine" in the middle and a "D.C. al Fine" at the end of the score:

........................Fine.......................D.C.al Fine.

However, Finale stops at the end of the score. It does not jump to the beginning and play to Fine.

What do I miss?

Are "Fine" and "D.C. al Fine" just text for display?

When you add a da capo, you need to set the Target field in the Repeat expression panel to measure 1.

When you add the Fine,  you need to set the Stop On Pass field in the Repeat expression panel to 2.
