My copy of Windows 10 Finale 26.3.1.520 has begun acting strangely.  For example, no matter how "preferences" are configured, Speedy Entry refuses to beam 4 eighth notes together.  Is my copy corrupted?   If so, how can I reinstall it?   I purchased this version and several previous versions directly from Make Music.

Two other examples:   Invoking "standard jazz" playback settings now yields dotted-eighth-sixteenth patterns, instead of the normal swing triplet pattern.   In addition, ending a Hyper-scribe recording session with the STOP button causes the screen to go white.

Oh, and one other thing:    Finale no longer shares audio with other programs (like Band in a Box or Windows Media Player).  Either Finale sounds and other programs are silent, or Finale generates an error message and is silent.

Delete your Preferences file and reboot the computer.  MM does not see the sound issue as a problem.
