(Windows 10 pro, Finale 25)

Having made the upgrade, I am disappointed to find that one old problem remains, and others may have appeared.

I tried to renumber my bars using "Edit Measure Number Regions" and was unable to do so reliably. Regions appeared to be numbered almost at random. Eventually I used the Patterson utilities, and was successful.

It seems not to be possible to distribute bars on pages when in page view after defining measure number reasons other than the default. This was also a problem with Finale 2014, all versions.

I also notice that, whenever I use Finale, my keyboard switches to a US layout. I live in the UK and work with a UK layout, so this is a pain!

It is probably a "feature" of my monitor setup, but the cursor disappears off the edge of the screen when using 75% zoom.

What do you mean by "distribute bars on pages"?

Sorry to hear the keyboard defaults to a U.S. rather than U.K. layout; that must clearly be a pain, and I'm surprised MM hasn't found a solution to prevent it.

In the process of laying out the score for a four movement work, I like to arrange for each movement to start on a new page. To achieve this layout, I have to adjust the numbers of bars per line on some pages. This process seems to produce very strange results when I have renumbered the measures so that each movement starts at bar 1.

Hello, I just upgraded from Finale 2008 to 25 and it seems to be missing some help files! It gives me errors when I select the help item in the help menu! Version 2008 had all the help files and tutorial videos from the help menu, no problem!
