Hi, i'm running Finale 2014.5 on Windows 7, and I write cadences for my marching drumline. I can't seem to figure out how or if you can add bass rim clicks into the score. It would be nice to have playback as well, but even changing the appearance of the notes would at least help. Thank you.

If you mean assign a special notehead and staff location for the clicks, I'd suggest you edit a Percussion Layout for that. To get playback, you might have to create a custom Percussion Map (or adapt from a current one).

What you use for the rim click sound I do not know, since I don't know what packages you have access to; and I do not really do any writing/arranging for band.

I managed get the look of a rim, but I want it to sound like it. I tried changing the MIDI number of it to that of the snare rim in the Garriten sound pack, but it just doesn't play a sound.
